The Law School at Lancaster University is seeking to appoint a Senior Teaching Associate who can contribute to the delivery of our programmes in Law. The Law School has recently increased its UG undergraduate student numbers leading to teaching coverage required across core Law subjects, with a particular need in the Law of Evidence, Criminal Law and our business suite of modules.
The Law School is consistently ranked in the top 15 in the UK league tables and is currently placed 55th in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings and 17th in the Complete University Guide. We have a vibrant, research-led teaching culture, with interdisciplinary collaborations, and a successful, engaged PGR community.
The Law School has over 50 full-time academic members of staff and is committed to having a positive impact on people's lives as well as academic excellence; over 80% of the School's research was rated as being internationally excellent or world leading in the 2021 Research Assessment Exercise.
