Applications are invited for an appointment as Lecturer in Mathematics, Fixed term, 1FTE, Contract type B, School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at University of Galway.

We are seeking to recruit a talented and motivated Lecturer in Mathematics for teaching, supervision, and research. Applications from mathematicians with experience of teaching and research in any area of mathematics will be considered. The successful candidate will primarily contribute to preparation and delivery of lectures, project supervision, and assessment in in mathematics. We are particularly eager to recruit a lecturer who can contribute to teaching Financial Mathematics and/or Actuarial Science.

Salary: € 63,624 to € 101,498. p.a. (applicable to new entrants effective from January, 2011)
