About School of Medicine

The BIU Medical School is first of its kind opportunity for potential physicians and medical professionals in the region. Students who wish to pursue a career in the field of medicine will study for an accelerated Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Sciences awarded by the University of Surrey. After successfully completing two years of pre-clinical training at BIU, students will be invited to attend Graduate Entry Medical School at the University of Surrey to complete their studies towards the MBBS and begin their career as medical professionals and practitioners in the UK or globally.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct full-time lecturing and research job in the subject area.
• Deliver and assess undergraduate modules in medical sciences, ensuring content is current, evidence-based, and aligned with awarding body standard.
• Employ modern, inclusive teaching methods and technologies; engage in reflective teaching practice and pedagogical innovation.
• Develop appropriate methods of formative and summative assessment, ensuring fairness, academic integrity, and compliance with institutional policies. 

Requirement:

• A successful candidate must have obtained a PhD degree from an internationally renowned university.
• A successful candidate must ideally have at least 7 years of teaching and lecturing experience in a leading university.
• Research project experience with renowned academic achievement will be a huge bonus.
