About the role
The Reception team are integral to the success of the DCH Building. They act as the public face of the building, ensuring a professional and welcoming service is provided to all visitors and building users. They also play a lead role on supporting building security by overseeing the access management process.
The Reception and Administrative Assistant plays an important role in supporting the delivery of key aspects of building operations. They will work with the Head Receptionist and Senior Administrator to ensure an efficient and effective reception service is provided.
This is a full-time permanent position. The actual starting salary offered will be based on qualifications and relevant skills acquired.
About you
You will act as the first point of contact for all building users, visitors and contractors to the building, ensuring a professional, welcoming appearance and environment is maintained.
You should have previous administrative experience in an office environment, as well as reception work. Excellent computer competency including Word, Excel and Outlook is essential as well as excellent communications skills with the ability to work with people at all levels. You should have a high attention to detail, along with good organisation skills. The ability to work towards tight deadlines is also important. Being able to work as part of a team, as well as prioritising your own workload is imperative.
You should have a positive and flexible approach and be able to adapt to new challenges and strive for continuous improvement within a work environment.
