The Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a committed and dedicated individual to join our team and contribute to the growth, delivery, and continuous improvement of the CIHS's Research, Education and Training programmes. This role includes supporting ongoing research projects, delivering Human Factors training, as well as other Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses in areas such as Sustainability, Workplace Wellbeing, and Systemic Risk Management. Additionally, the role will contribute to teaching on our Postgraduate Certificate, Diploma, and MSc programme in Managing Risk and System Change. The ideal candidate will have expertise in at least one of the following areas, Human Factors, Risk and Safety Management, Sustainable behaviour, Workplace Wellbeing and will have a strong track record in creating and delivering training programmes across diverse industries.
Context
The role includes exploring and developing new training and educational opportunities. The candidate will immerse themselves in the ongoing research activities and outputs of CIHS, integrating key findings into training programmes. Responsibilities will include updating training content, ensuring existing material is current and embedded in the latest state of the art research and relevant regulatory requirements, managing the training team, overseeing training delivery and evaluation, and maintaining ongoing coordination with industry clients.
