Abertay is a modern university with a global outlook, rooted in its local and national communities. We have made our mark with high quality, well-directed teaching and research, and a stimulating and enriching experience for our students.
As a consequence of charitable funding, we have been able to launch a Wellbeing Clinic, a supervised but student-run venture offering a health and wellbeing service to individuals and businesses within Dundee. The Clinic will offer a twilight service and has been set up as a project to launch in a series of phases subsequent to an internal pilot.
Reporting to the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Applied Sciences, as project sponsor, you will be involved in the recruitment, training and day-to-day management of the student deliverers as well as having oversight of Clinic resources. Key to the role will be building a network of external agencies so that a coordinated approach can be taken to the Clinic’s wellbeing offer.
The role requires excellent organisational, team working and communication skills, and a commitment to maintain a high-quality learning environment for students, as well as a high-level of customer service for clinic users.
If you wish to discuss the role, or are not sure if your experience and qualifications are suitable please contact A.Cameron@abertay.ac.uk
