An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced employment lawyer to join the in-house Legal Services team at Brunel. Reporting directly to the University Secretary & General Counsel, you will play a crucial role in working with the University’s HR team responsible for around 2,000 members of staff.
You will be responsible for providing day-to-day advice to members of the HR team which may include providing creative solutions to a wide range on initiatives such as reorganisations, acquisitions, in-sourcing and out-sourcing. You will also oversee litigation and be responsible for instructing external legal advice when necessary.
We offer a generous annual leave package plus discretionary University closure days, excellent training and development opportunities as well as a great occupational pension scheme and a range of health-related support. The University is committed to a hybrid working approach.
Prior in-house experience in an education setting is desirable but not essential to the role.
Closing date for applications: 27 June 2025.
Interviews will take place during the week commencing 30 June 2025 in person.
