Summary:
The Events Officer will support the organisation and delivery of events that are part of the Brunel University of London portfolio. That role will involve coordinating projects as directed by their line manager from planning to delivery of small events and supporting on the larger core events within the portfolio. The post holder is also responsible for evaluating activities to ensure they meet objectives and are aligned with the University’s strategic plan. The events portfolio includes but is not limited to Institutional/VIP events, Graduation events, research and engagement events, recruitment events and student and staff focused events.
The postholder will be required to work closely with colleagues across the University and with external agencies and suppliers. As an experienced events management specialist, they will have a leading role in Brunel’s campus coordination activity throughout the academic year, acting as a point of liaison on all events management issues. This role will report to the Events Manager.
