Job Description
We are currently seeking a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to design and deliver content across a range of Law modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, support and assess learners, contribute to curriculum planning and development and engage in research and scholarly activity
About the Role
Within this role your responsibilities will include the design and delivery of teaching across relevant subject areas, contributing to curriculum development, and enhancing student experience through innovative pedagogy and research-informed practice. You will engage in scholarly activity, pursue external funding opportunities, and build strong networks with academic, professional, and industry partners. Additional duties include quality assurance, student recruitment, administrative responsibilities, and contributing to the wider academic community within the School. Mentoring of junior colleagues and participation in University initiatives will also form part of this rewarding role.

Applicants with two years or less full time equivalent teaching experience in Higher Education who do not hold a Teaching and Learning in Higher Education Certificate accredited by the Higher Education Academy (HEA) or HEA fellowship will be required to complete an approved Certificate in Professional Learning in Higher Education course during the first two years of employment.
Applicants with more than two years full time equivalent teaching experience in Higher Education who do not hold a Teaching and Learning in Higher Education Certificate accredited by the Higher Education Academy (HEA) or HEA fellowship will be required to accredit their practice through the HEA fellowship application process during their 6 month probation period.
