We are seeking an administrator to join our busy Research, Impact and Engagement team in the Social Sciences Division. This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of a busy team that supports researchers across the Division to deliver high-quality, impactful research. Working closely with colleagues, the successful candidate will provide administrative support across a broad portfolio of activities. These include coordinating internal research funding schemes, supporting the preparation of external funding bids, and helping to deliver a range of events; from training sessions to high-profile research events. The role also involves preparing reports and data for committees and meetings, managing purchasing and procurement processes, and contributing to internal communications, including newsletters and website content.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual who enjoys variety in their work and is eager to contribute to a collaborative, visionary team supporting world-class research and engagement.
This role is offered on a full-time/part-time basis and is fixed term for 12 months in the first instance. Flexible working arrangements will be considered and this post may also be offered as an internal secondment opportunity.
