The Role
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Mathematics with a particular emphasis on the p-adic Langlands programme and related areas. The research project, led by Dr Jack Shotton, aims to use ideas arising in the p-adic Langlands programme to study l-adic questions, and vice versa.
The successful applicant will be expected to conduct and disseminate research on arithmetic aspects of the Langlands programme under the direction of the PI, and to contribute their own research ideas and experience to the project.
This post is fixed term for up to 24 months, the duration of the grant.
Successful applicants will, ideally, be in post by 01/11/2025, with an earlier start date possible.
