Job Summary
The School of Health at RGU is looking to appoint a Simulation & Clinical Skills Facilitator to support the delivery of clinical skills and simulation-based education across the school. This is an exciting time to be part of enhancing the development of simulation-based education and improving the delivery of clinical skills within the School. This is a permanent appointment, and the role is suitable for applicants from a wide range of clinical backgrounds and experience.
You will be an enthusiastic and friendly, registered healthcare professional with good communication and interpersonal skills who is committed to providing an excellent student experience. It will be an exciting, interesting, varied and challenging role, which will require you to be adaptable, creative, supportive and organised, with a willingness to try new approaches. A background in clinical skills teaching and a knowledge of simulation-based education would be an advantage. In return, you will join an enthusiastic and supportive team who wish to develop and enhance the use of simulation and skills education.
You will be required to contribute to the delivery of our simulation and skills curriculum across the School. This position will involve working with and supporting the clinical skills team and academic staff in identifying, designing, facilitating and evaluating simulation and skills sessions that support the development of the student into a safe, competent healthcare professional.
