About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead our Pensions Flexibility project. This initiative aims to enhance the flexibility of our university's pension offerings, aligning with the diverse needs of our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Pensions Flexibility project from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including People and OD, Finance, Legal and Governance, Internal Communications, and trade unions.
  • Engage with external stakeholders such as pension scheme providers to align project goals.
  • Organise and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and boards to drive project progress.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and communication materials.
  • Coordinate the creation and dissemination of informational resources and events to support staff understanding of pension options.
  • Monitor project performance, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably within HR, pensions, or higher education sectors.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Familiarity with pension schemes and related regulatory frameworks is advantageous.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
