About the role
As Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Social Work, you will be required to make a significant contribution to the delivery of our modules and other areas of our core curriculum depending on your areas of expertise and experience.
You will support the diverse academic and personal needs of individuals students as well as reflect on own skills and knowledge and seek opportunities to develop. You will be a proactive leader in your approaches to teaching, learning and assessment and you will possess a keen interest and enthusiasm in your subject area and a creativity to how you will impact knowledge and understanding.
You will be expected to contribute to the research activities of one of our Research Units and meet the qualitative and qualitative requirements for submission to the next Research Excellence exercise.

About you
You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience. You will be able to effectively apply learning to real life situations, delivering research informed teaching and practical and skills experience. You will hold experience of working within statutory and non-statutory social care services and hold an active Social Work Registration.
