Our dedicated Lecturer (Teaching) team are subject specialists focused on delivering student education, which is active, social, applied, and inclusive within our vibrant and varied education environment.
The School of Health and Care delivers an extensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses for professionals working in health and social care settings. We also have a large portfolio of CPD courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels including Advanced Clinical Practice, Independent prescribing and Global Healthcare Management.
The Role
As Lecturer (Teaching) – Paramedic Science, you’ll lead modules and support the design and delivery of undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programmes, ensuring a high-quality student learning experience.
Based in the School of Health and Care, you’ll collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching by integrating research, enterprise, and professional context into modules and the wider curriculum.

We seek an enthusiastic, self-motivated educator with proven experience teaching paramedic science at HE levels 4–7. You will demonstrate high standards in teaching, learning, and student engagement, aligned with our reputation for quality education. A strong commitment to active learning and student success is essential. As a global institution, cultural awareness and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse learners are vital. Innovation, collaboration, and flexibility are key, so you must work well independently and within teams. This role requires a proactive approach to enhancing pedagogy and a willingness to adapt to evolving educational needs and environments.
