About the role

The University of Bath is seeking to recruit a Lecturer to join the Department of Psychology.

Applicants must have the capacity to teach on our clinical programmes (MSc in Applied Clinical Psychology, MSc Clinical Associate in Psychology), and have clinical experience. 

We welcome applications from HCPC registered Clinical Psychologists who have a DClinPsy or equivalent. 

Please note that this role is a maternity leave cover post and is offered on a fixed term basis (0.8 FTE), with an expected end date of 31 August 2026. 

The salary grade for this position will be dependent on experience and skillset.

About you

In this role, the post holder will:

  • provide teaching and marking across our clinical programmes and be committed to and have experience of delivering high quality teaching.
  • act as unit convenor for one the key units on the MSc Applied Clinical Psychology units as well act as an academic advisor students within the department. 
  • show evidence of inclusive teaching practice and student engagement.

Please note that team working skills and a passion for leadership in the training of new clinical psychologists in a leading higher education environment are essential.
