We are redefining student success by bringing together proactive, high-quality support that empowers students to navigate university life with confidence. As a vital member of our team, you’ll have the chance to shape and contribute to a service that makes a real impact-delivering tailored advice, guidance and innovative solutions that enhance student wellbeing, engagement and academic progress.
Joining us means being part of a vibrant, student-focused community of 350+ SAS colleagues where ideas are valued, your expertise makes a difference and every interaction helps students thrive. Role
As a Senior Business Change Project Manager, you will lead complex transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, student experience and institutional effectiveness. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, academic schools and professional services teams to drive meaningful organisational change, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned with strategic objectives. Thriving in a dynamic environment, you will apply your expertise in change management to embed sustainable improvements, navigating sector-wide challenges and regulatory frameworks to shape the university’s future.
Person
To be successful in this role you will be degree-qualified, with demonstrable experience of progressing into broader, more complex roles. Holding a recognised project/change management qualification, you will bring extensive experience in managing large-scale business change and transformation projects within a complex environment, ideally within higher education.
You must be able to demonstrate proficiency in leading multiple, high-impact projects, ensuring structured governance, stakeholder alignment and measurable results. Expert knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and business process analysis will be key to embedding meaningful organisational change. Strategic thinking, problem-solving and excellent stakeholder engagement skills are essential, as you will work closely with senior leaders, academics, and operational teams. You will also have strong data-driven decision-making abilities, risk assessment expertise and experience in project budgeting and resource planning.
How will you work?
We are committed to supporting flexible methods of working wherever possible. Campus attendance will vary on a day-to-day basis and across the year but must purposefully align to the needs of our students, staff, and stakeholders. It is expected that there will be a relatively even balance between time spent on and off campus; but in most cases the work location will be determined by the service required or the tasks/activities being undertaken.
