The University is refreshing its strategy and has set out an ambitious programme of change for the future, centred around financial stability, our academic offer, and our organisational agility.
To support our ambitions, we are embarking on an Operational Improvement Programme (OIP) to bring some of our core processes and systems up to date, improve efficiency, and ensure our students and staff continue to have the best possible experience.
We are therefore seeking to strengthen our business change capacity by recruiting 4 Enterprise Architects to join our Digital Architecture team in Digital Technology Services (DTS) to play a key role in our OIP and work across all aspects, from operational planning and change to large digital transformation programmes.
You’ll guide architectural decisions, ensure alignment with long-term strategy, architecture principles, and standards and be involved in architecture governance processes.
With a strong pipeline of initiatives and a supportive, cross-functional team, this is an opportunity to influence large-scale change and drive innovation in a complex, evolving organisation.
We offer a diverse range of benefits and opportunities to pursue a rewarding and fulfilling career in a supportive environment.
You will be contractually enrolled into the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) – one of the largest and most generous defined benefit pension schemes in the country.
If you are, or have been, a recent member of the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) directly prior to joining us, you can choose to opt out of the LGPS and remain in the USS. Please contact the Pensions team to discuss options available.
For this job, we particularly welcome applications from minority ethnic applicants who are underrepresented in this area/ this type of job at Sheffield Hallam.
The University may be able to sponsor the employment of international applicants in this role; this will depend on a number of factors specific to the individual applicant.
We welcome applications for job-share, part-time and flexible working arrangements.
