The King’s Digital UXDev/Learning Technology team collaborates to enhance our virtual learning environment for fully online education. In this role, you will provide strong, collaborative leadership to the Educational Technology Development (Dev) team, advising on the best technical approaches to meet our goals and working with the UX Manager to allocate development tasks effectively.

A core focus of the UXDev/Learning Technology team is supporting our in-house modular Design System for online programmes and courses in Moodle. We also develop and implement new technology enhancements to enable more engaging teaching, ensuring tools are integrated as seamlessly and sustainably as possible.

This role is vital to the team’s success, requiring a balance of advanced technical expertise with considerations for user experience, scalability, and accessibility. Beyond writing high-quality code and resolving tickets, you will uphold coding standards, maintain clear documentation, and contribute to improving our DevOps workflows.

While King’s Digital is committed to innovation, we are also closely connected to the wider University through shared systems and users. This role therefore demands strong communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to work effectively across teams and departments to help deliver the best possible online learning experience for our students.

This is a full-time post offered on an indefinite contract.
