The Department
We are seeking a Careers Consultant to join our dynamic and innovative Careers team looking to offer students and graduates the very best in careers guidance and planning; supporting our strategic aim to embed careers education and employability in the curriculum and become best in sector for graduate employability. You will have a level 6 qualification in careers guidance or equivalent and possess drive and enthusiasm and the desire to both lead and collaborate on a range of projects.
The Role
Key roles include providing effective and timely advice and guidance to students and graduates, delivering employability through the curriculum both as a consultant to academic staff and in deliver to student groups. Establishing and developing productive partnerships with academic staff, other professional colleagues and external organisations including employers. You will be required to research and develop a range of materials for use with students, graduates, and academics, producing information for use in print and digital form.

The Person
Candidates will need a level 6 qualification in Careers Guidance, experience of working in careers with higher education students and academic teams with strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including, the ability to lead on initiatives and embedding careers education in the curriculum.
