The LSE Eden Centre brings together educational, technological and developmental expertise to support the development of academic staff and enable curriculum enrichment and digital innovation across the School. Eden Centre staff work with academic and professional services colleagues across the School and in partnership with students to enhance research-rich education in line with LSE’s strategic priorities in Education and Student Experience.

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Learning Technologist to join the Eden Centre’s Digital Education team.  This is an exciting time to come on board, as the multi-million-pound Digital Education Futures programme is well underway and delivering real impact across the School.  The team is focused on ensuring staff and students are well supported as these changes take shape, embedding the use of key institutional platforms such as Moodle, Turnitin and GradeScope, as well as seeding fresh projects and pilots.

The postholder will play an important role in maintaining clear guidance and documentation, providing responsive user support, and helping colleagues navigate and make the most of evolving digital tools and workflows during a period of transformation in teaching and learning.

The successful candidate will have:

  • An undergraduate qualification in any field or significant experience in a learning technology, or related, role.
  • Experience supporting users of a variety of technologies in any organisation.
  • An understanding of the role of technology in education enhancement.
  • The ability to pick up and be fluent in the use of new technologies in short order.
