Are you an experienced IT professional ready to shape the future of services that support biomedical research at the University of Oxford?
The Medical Sciences Division IT Services are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable IT Systems and Service Manager to lead the delivery and development of key digital platforms supporting clinical studies, biobank operations, and regulatory compliance.
In this newly created and strategically important role, you’ll oversee systems such as OpenSpecimen (LIMS), REDCap (research data capture), and iPassport (quality management)—ensuring they are reliable, secure, and aligned with the needs of our world-class research community. You’ll work closely with researchers, IT colleagues, and compliance teams to co-design, co-deliver, and manage services that are critical to HTA-regulated environments.
You’ll line manage a dedicated technical lead and collaborate with a broader team of 25 IT professionals to support a wide range of research activities across multiple departments.
The post is available full time on a permanent basis. Flexible working available with a minimum of 3 days per week on site.
