About the role
We seek to appoint a teaching lecturer in the Department of Genetics, Evolution and Environment (GEE) at UCL. The postholder will also be expected to design and deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops, laboratory practical sessions and field courses in face-to-face settings, to a variety of class sizes. The applicant will lead a module targeted at second- and third-year undergraduates, assist where required with existing modules, develop and i mplement assessments and provide feedback to students, act as a personal tutor to undergraduate students and supervise research projects, both individual and collaborative. You will also actively participate in strategic curriculum development, coordinating programmes and modules, and supporting students. Time is also allocated within workloads for scholarship and research to underpin research-based education, and for your continuing professional development.
