About the role
We are seeking an experienced Alumni Communications Manager to lead and implement an innovative communications strategy that strengthens connections between the University and its global alumni network of over 150,000 supporters.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to edit our sector-leading publications, BA2 and Inspire – engaging alumni and supporters through compelling storytelling and editorial excellence.
Working across digital and print platforms, including email marketing, social media, publications and the department website, you will ensure alumni remain informed, inspired and engaged.
Supported by the Alumni Communications Officer, you will play a key role in advancing alumni engagement while managing the delivery and evaluation of impactful communications campaigns.

The Advancement Office supports a network of over 150,000 University of Bath alumni across 170 countries, as well as our wider community of supporters who generously give their time, expertise and philanthropy to the University.
Fundraising is one of the main aspects of our work. Donor gifts transform students’ lives through removing barriers to education, & advance important research in sustainability, health and wellbeing, and digital.
We keep in touch with our community of alumni and friends, informing them of the latest University news and events, and providing unique benefits and services.

This is a full-time role, working 36.5 hours per week on a fixed-term basis to cover parental-leave until September 2026, with a mixture of home & office working.
