Reuben College, the University of Oxford’s newest postgraduate college, invites applications for the position of College Alumni & Engagement Co-ordinator. This is a newly created and significant role within a dynamic and growing institution, offering a rare opportunity to shape and develop the College’s alumni relations and engagement programme from its foundation.
The College seeks a proactive, well-organised, and imaginative individual with a professional background in alumni relations, communications, or stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will bring excellent interpersonal and communication skills, experience in event or project planning and delivery, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with independence and discretion. A familiarity with database management and a sensitivity to data protection are essential, as is the ability to write compelling content for a range of audiences.
Working closely with the College’s Communications and Events team and reporting to the Senior Tutor, the postholder will lead on alumni engagement activities, including the production of the termly alumni newsletter and the ‘College Record’, coordination of alumni events, and communication with graduating students. They will also play an important role in donor relations, including support in the stewardship of the College’s valued relationship with the Reuben Foundation and other benefactors, as well as preparing reports and materials to support development initiatives.
