Do you have experience of supporting in the areas of student administration in relation to placements? Do you pride yourself on your accuracy and attention to detail and you are able to deal confidently with a range of people? If so, we invite you to apply for our Placements Coordinator (Primary Care) role.

You will provide comprehensive administrative support in the areas of student administration in relation to primary care. You will play a key role in supporting placements and in ensuring a high-quality student experience.

As Placements Coordinator (Primary Care) you can expect to be involved in:

  • Taking a proactive role in developing and enhancing the administrative processes within the School 
  • Providing administrative support for the quality assurance and capacity expansion of Primary Care clinical placements including supporting annual and biennial quality assurance visits with placement providers, and the arrangement and delivery of annual quality review meetings
  • Operationalising the annual schedule for placement planning to facilitate the smooth running of all Primary Care placement modules 
  • Ensuring student records, programmes databases and student data systems are accurate and up to date in line with University policy and GDPR regulations.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Educated to GCSE in English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent 
  • Educated to A Level or equivalent
  • Experience of working in HE administration including knowledge of timetabling in an education context and of taught programme processes and procedures 
  • Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy 
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office packages (intermediate level)
  • Ability to work both independently and in cooperation with others to meet deadlines.
