  • A Queer History of the 20th Century (Final-Year) - An 11-week comparative module exploring the invention of hetero/homosexuality, the impact of war and revolution on LGBTQ+ communities, legal reform, the ‘sexual revolution', and the HIV/AIDS crisis, with case studies including Germany and beyond.

In addition, you will contribute to:

  • A first-year module on the First World War
  • A second-year module on the Second World War, with a focus on gender and sexuality
  • Supervision of final-year undergraduate dissertations in modern German history and the history of gender and sexuality

  • Histories of RGSI (Race, Gender, Sexuality and Identity)
  • HACC (Histories and Cultures of Conflict)

About You
