We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Postdoctoral researcher to join the Young lab to investigate secreted proteins during chronic Toxoplasma gondii infection.
The Opportunity:
You will apply CRISPR screening and next generation sequencing analysis to identify key players in Toxoplasma cyst formation. You will use imaging and biochemical assays to investigate the Toxoplasma cyst wall, working closely with other members of the Young lab. You will join the Institute for Immunology and Infection Research at the University of Edinburgh, which is a vibrant scientific community within an exciting and beautiful city.
You will join our active ToxoInEd community, with weekly journal clubs, monthly research talks and a wider community for ECRs across Edinburgh.
