About the Role
We are seeking a highly enthusiastic healthcare professional to join our dynamic and innovative Physician Associate Faculty for a 12-month maternity cover. The post holder will assist with the delivery of teaching across the programme and will have the opportunity to co-lead a module. You will also assist with assessment and student support duties. The post holder will be supported in their professional development in medical education.

The post is based at the Whitechapel Campus in London; however, the post holder will be expected to attend other QMUL campuses: St Bartholomew’s, Mile End and Ilford. As this is a maternity cover, the post is part-time (14 hours per week) with an expected start date of September 2025. The starting salary will be pre-2009, in the range of £43,455 -£73,506 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London allowance.

About You
You are a healthcare professional with a relevant degree (PA/ MBBS etc.,) with experience in either primary care, hospital medicine or surgery. This role would be particularly suitable for a GP or PA interested in medical education with previous experience of teaching and would like to take the next steps towards an academic career. You will require strong communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
