The Department
The Placement and Employment Service engage with employers, students, academic schools, central service departments and the local community to expand the choice and quality of employment opportunities on offer across disciplines with the aim of enhancing our students’ exposure to the world of work.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Employer Engagement Officer to help increase the number of job opportunities for students and graduates and to coordinate the diverse of employer engagement activities at UWL.
The role involves working with employers to source opportunities, organising careers fairs and employer events on campus and providing information and advice to employers. This role will also involve supporting the internal student recruitment service (UWL Talent Bank) and ensuring that all parties have a clear expectation of what is required of them.
The Person
You will have demonstrable customer service skills, initiative and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. You will also have proficient IT skills including experience of maintaining database systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is well organised, able to prioritise and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
