This is a full time (36.5hrs/week) fixed-term contract for up to 3 years, finishing 31st December 2027, with possible extension.

We are seeking to appoint a Research Fellow for a multi-institutional EPSRC project led by Dr Hungyen Lin.

The overall goal of the project is to work collaboratively with colleagues at University of Surrey to develop new understanding on ion-exchange membranes, focussing on developing novel environmental-controlled terahertz spectroscopy, systematic experimental characterisations and advanced characterisations such as X-ray, electron, and neutron scattering and imaging experiments.

You will undertake independent and collaborative research and will be expected to write up your research for publication.

You will be expected to deal with any management/administration problems that may arise from the project and produce and present regular project reports to project stakeholders ensuring that the project objectives and deadlines are met. 

You will also be willing to supervise PhD/Masters and undergraduate final-year levels on related projects.

This post is based at the University of Warwick at the School of Engineering, however the successful candidate will be required to make occasional trips to the project partners in the U.K.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone previously researching on terahertz spectroscopy and ion-exchange membranes.
