What we are looking for
An enthusiastic academic professional to contribute to teaching, assessment, curriculum design in Public Health disciplines at TU London. You will apply creativity, innovation, and subject expertise to the delivery of an outstanding student learning experience.
Your responsibilities will include the delivery of innovative, engaging, and effective teaching, providing pastoral support, supervision of projects and contribution to professional development and business engagement. You will engage in management activities such as module leadership, produce appropriate documentation and collaborate with colleagues to disseminate best practice.
You will have knowledge and experience in the design and delivery of effective teaching and assessment at undergraduate and postgraduate level using a variety of approaches. You will either hold extensive professional experience in a related field and a degree or a PhD in a relevant discipline. The ability and expertise to teach a range of Public Health subjects is an essential requirement along with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders including business.
Your skills and expertise will include exceptional oral and written communication skills, IT skills to produce effective materials and engage our students. You will have demonstrable ability to exercise initiative, creativity, and judgement in applying appropriate approaches to teaching and learning, research, and scholarly activities.
You will have the capability to support student retention through caring for our students’ pastoral needs.
