- THE ROLE -
The postholder will deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, supervision, and learning support in History or related areas. This includes, but is not limited to, co-ordinating and teaching on existing modules; supporting students’ independent learning through effective use of the Blackboard Ultra virtual learning environment; student assessment, related administration, and project supervision. They may also be required to work closely with the rest of the teaching team in developing collaborative projects with students, external partners, and colleagues from other disciplines across the school and the faculty.
While the emphasis of the post is on contributing to the delivery of taught provision and support for the student experience, the successful postholder will be able to access research support through UoA28 History.
We may create a 12-month waiting list for the same or similar roles within the Department / Faculty. The University reserves the right to extend the waiting list across the University if required for certain posts.
- ABOUT YOU -
The postholder will be required to have:
- An Honours Degree in History or a related subject.
- A PhD in History or a related subject.
- Experience of teaching and assessment of History in higher education.
