Are you a enthusiastic and experienced HR professional ready to join our friendly professional services team at the department of Pathology? We are seeking a HR Manager to lead our HR office and support our talented team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a busy academic department. You'll have the chance to develop your existing broad range of skills, increase your experience across various functions, play a key part the work experience of our staff and get involved with initiatives and activities happening across the School of Biological Sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding process
  • Lead performance management, employee relations, and engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure legal compliance and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support leadership with organisational development and workforce planning.
  • Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and HR systems.

About You:

  • Proven HR leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with HR systems and data analytics.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
