About the role
We are delighted to announce the recruitment for a full-time, permanent, Taught Postgraduate Degrees Officer - one of three new roles within our Academic Administration team at the University of Oxford’s Faculty of History, currently based on George Street, Oxford (OX1 2RL). From the date the Humanities Division relocates, the role will be based at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities in the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Oxford https://www.schwarzmancentre.ox.ac.uk.

The role
The Taught Postgraduate Degrees Officer is responsible for the management of the Faculty’s 250 PGT students progression processes, including examination administration, across 6 taught postgraduate courses. The role provides expert advice and administration on matters related to PGT courses and students including support to the Academic Administration Manager, Education Manager and Director of Graduate Studies.
About you
You will be educated to A-level standard or equivalent with experience in administration, preferably in higher education or a similar field, have a flexible approach to work, with a friendly ‘can do’ attitude and a dedication to providing excellent customer service to all, and have demonstrable ability to work constructively and enthusiastically as part of a team. Experience of administering to Taught Postgraduate Students would be desirable.
