We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.

About the Role

As a Product Marketing Manager in Cambridge Online Education, you will establish and lead a newly formed function at the heart of our fast-growing online education division.

  • End-to-End GTM Ownership: Design and implement scalable, repeatable go-to-market frameworks aligned with customer, commercial, and product priorities. Deliver end-to-end campaign strategies that connect value proposition to revenue impact.
  • Positioning & Messaging Excellence: Define and operationalise differentiated messaging and positioning strategies that elevate our courses in competitive global markets.
  • Customer & Market Insight: Drive a culture of insight-led decision making. Collaborate with Market Research to synthesise customer intelligence, competitor trends, and market signals into strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Propositions, Product, Sales, and Digital Marketing to align on shared KPIs, strengthen product-market fit, and enhance our commercial success.

About You

You are an experienced product marketing leader with:

  • Proven expertise in building and scaling product marketing functions in digital learning, SaaS, or technology-driven education environments.
  • A track record of delivering high-impact GTM strategies that blend market insight, technical understanding, and commercial ambition.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills – you bring out the best in cross-functional teams and know how to shape a culture of performance and growth.
  • Technical literacy – you're confident navigating product development cycles, data analytics, and customer research tools to inform decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication skills – you can distil complexity into compelling narratives and strategic action plans.
