Are you a qualified and passionate football professional, with experience in the development of both programmes and players?
If the answer to that question is yes, then we’d love to hear from you – an exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and confident coordinator to lead the Football programme within the uea+sport team at the University of East Anglia.
You will lead on the delivery and development of the UEA’s football programme, coordinating both the Men’s and Women’s clubs (with a combined membership of approx. 250 students), providing an excellent sporting experience for students from participation to performance.
You will be responsible for developing the coaching workforce across both clubs, both paid and voluntary, with specific responsibility for coaching and managing the Men’s 1st team in BUCS and local league competition. You will be a UEFA B Licence holder, with experience of working within the Higher Education sector and have knowledge of student player education pathways. Experience of working with post-16 education providers is also desirable.
You will be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with a range of partners and have excellent organisation and administration skills.
This full-time post (40 hours per week) is offered on a fixed term basis until 31 July 2026. There is an expectation of flexibility to meet the demands of the role across peak periods.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service, including a check of the Child Barred List.
