The University of Sheffield’s Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre North West (AMRC NW) has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Lead-Additive Manufacturing.
As a Technical Lead, you will be based in the area of Additive Manufacturing within the AMRC North West facility. You will take responsibility for Additive Manufacturing projects from scoping, proposal writing, task/timeline planning to high-quality delivery of project objectives and outcomes. This may include the line management of project engineers working on various Additive Manufacturing technology development projects. An important aspect of the role will be to help the technical fellows to steer the technical direction of the team whilst ensuring current projects are delivered successfully. You will be expected to input to project scoping, set up and delivery as well as advising on technical matters across various advanced manufacturing topics mainly focussing on AM technologies. You must ensure projects are delivered to a high technical standard to ensure the AMRC’s international reputation is maintained.
