The Role
You will play a key role in the coordination of two clinical research projects) related to the Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophies, specifically Jain COS Study and Jain COS PrePARED. The Jain COS Study is a long running international clinical research study investigating the natural history of LGMD2B with 12 sites in 8 different countries. We have now secured funding for an additional 4 years. The Jain COS PrePARED study is a new local single site research study with international patient recruitment. The Project Coordinator will support the project manager and Chief Investigator to coordinate the patient experience on both studies. They will play a key role in providing accurate and detailed information to all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of these studies and maximise the learning and impact generated by this research.
This diverse and rewarding role sits within the John Walton Muscular Dystrophy Research Centre which is an internationally recognised centre of excellence for care and research in neuromuscular diseases. As part of the JWMDRC, you will also have opportunities to be involved in wider activities across the diverse team.
