Pro-Vice-Chancellor Global

As Pro-Vice-Chancellor Global, reporting to the Vice-Chancellor, you will play a key part in the continued success of the University by leading our Global Strategy. You will be responsible for:

• Providing academic leadership across the University global portfolio of activity enabling the University to achieve its vision and strategy.
• Ensuring key deliverables are achieved in relation to the Global strategy and the wider University strategy.
• Developing global initiatives and partnerships that will enhance research, student experience and employability, and international student recruitment.
• Providing strategic oversight of our global campuses and international partnerships.
• Ensuring our commitments to Environmental Sustainability and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion are at the forefront of all that we do.
• Ensuring the University’s guiding principles and aspirational values are firmly progressed and embedded.

You will have an outstanding track record of successful and impactful leadership within a global portfolio. You will have evidence of building excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders, nationally and internationally, to deliver significant development and enhancement of University Business. You will have a track record of action for positive change in fostering cross-cultural and global mindsets in an organisation, and building equitable and mutually beneficial research and education partnerships that can change the world for the better. You will also possess the ability to set a strategic vision for a large-scale, complex organisation and to translate strategy into action with excellent advocacy and prioritisation skills, communicating strategy and inspiring trust through an open and consultative style.
