The Role
Newcastle University Business School is seeking a motivated and highly organised Education Administrator to join our Education Team.
You will provide comprehensive support within a programme cluster, including a wide range of duties across all areas of taught studies to ensure that School, Faculty and University policies, deadlines and standards are met. This will include, for example, ensuring that activities in the School Education Activity Planner are completed across a defined cluster of undergraduate, postgraduate taught and/or postgraduate research programmes, acting as an expert user for one or more of the University's learning and teaching systems, and providing support for student, accreditation and audit processes.
Possessing excellent organisation, interpersonal and communication skills, you will be passionate about providing students and academic staff with a consistently excellent level of service. You will have demonstrable work experience in a relevant role and/or comparable setting, with the ability to use initiative and apply judgement. You will have a working knowledge of relevant University systems, in addition to comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, with the ability to manipulate and analyse information for management purposes.
You will manage the allocation of duties and workload of the Education Assistants within the programme cluster and will also act on behalf of the Education Team Leader, following an agreed set of guiding principles.
