About the role
The Department of Social Policy and Intervention is seeking a Research Assistant to join Dr. Bridget Steele’s research on sexual violence prevention. You will contribute to the administration of a research project that includes designing and administering a global living systematic review and evidence and gap map on what works to prevent childhood sexual violence. You will also be working on projects related to violence against children and women.
The Research Assistant will provide research management support and play a key role in all aspects of conducting systematic reviews in the field of sexual violence and support generating study outputs and report. You will report directly Dr. Bridget Steele.
About you
You will have or be pursuing a Master’s degree (MA, MPH, MSc) in public health or a relevant field, as well as experience with conducting systematic reviews including quantitative synthesis of results. You will possess strong academic writing, presentational, and critical thinking skills. It is desirable for you to have a demonstrated commitment to working in a research team and contributing ideas for new research projects. A good communicator, you will be well organised and be able to meet deadlines.
