The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the university of Strathclyde invites applications for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the VIVO Project, a cutting-edge initiative focused on developing technologies to support and enhance independent living.

This position will play a key role in investigating the mechanobiology of body-device interaction, with an emphasis on understanding and mitigating adverse loading conditions that can arise from prolonged use of assistive devices. The successful candidate will lead the design, development, and evaluation of soft robotic interventions, working at the intersection of biomechanics, wearable robotics, and rehabilitation engineering.
