An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior HROD Advisor (Reward) to join the Human Resources & Organisational Development (HROD) Directorate. You’ll join a team responsible for the delivery of high-performing people services in support of the University's operational priorities and strategic aims.
You will be responsible for providing specialist advice on a range of complex reward issues. Significant experience of a range of reward and recognition mechanisms is therefore essential, including job evaluation methodologies, grading structures, managing annual pay review cycles, benchmarking analysis and benefit programmes.
You should also demonstrate a commitment to customer service excellence, delivering a consistent and professional service, whilst maintaining compliance within regulatory and procedural frameworks.
You will be contractually enrolled into the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) – one of the largest and most generous defined benefit pension schemes in the country.
If you are currently a member of the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS), you can choose to opt out of the LGPS and remain in the USS.
