Currently located in the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Experimental Psychology will be moving to the new, purpose-built Life and Mind Building a multidisciplinary research and teaching facility due to open in the summer of 2025. 

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Grants Officer. This is a key position in the administration team providing pre- and post-award administration and tailored financial support to Principal Investigators.

The position is offered full time on a permanent basis. Although part time working, min 80% will be considered.

About you

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience along with experience of research grants administration, both pre-and post-award.  The position requires excellent IT skills, including advanced use of Excel along with strong communication, interpersonal and organisation skills with the ability to produce consistently accurate work and to meet deadlines.

Previous experience of working in the University and having used X5 costing software and Oracle Financials would be advantageous.

Should the candidate not meet all of the essential criteria it is possible that the role can be offered at a Grade 5 with additional training until all of the essential criteria can be met and evidenced.
