The starting salary will be from £33,482 on Grade E, depending on qualifications and experience.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
We welcome applications from candidates interested in working part-time hours or job-sharing arrangements.
This new full-time post (1.0FTE) is immediately available on a fixed term basis until 31st August 2027.
Summary of the role
This post will support academic and commercial research projects within the PROTECT portfolio in a Data Specialist capacity. The projects involve delivery of a computerised cognitive test system and related software for research purposes. Primarily, this will include the maintenance of data query logs, monitoring of cognitive data, creation of datasets and summary reports. The post-holder will contribute to the operational management of the cognitive test platform, adhering to quality management processes in line with Good Clinical Practice guidelines. Further, the Data Specialist will work closely with the Project Manager to maintain professional client and third-party relationships, including with commercial organisations, as well as those across the University. The successful applicant will play an important part in ensuring regulatory compliance, improving current and creating new Data Management processes while also having the opportunity to contribute to the strategic development of the cognitive testing platform.
