This new 0.3 FTE post is available immediately on the Doctorate of Clinical Psychology, Psychoanalytic and Psychotherapeutic Clinical Practice (DPPClinPrac) within the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, Psychology Department on a fixed-term basis until 31 July 2027.
This position could be an opportunity for an internal secondment, with approval from your current line manager.

The role
The successful candidate will have responsibility for the design, development and production of teaching and learning material and delivery of these across a range of modules or within a subject area. You will work with the DPPClinPrac Team to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of teaching programmes in accord with the Faculty’s education strategy and implementing the External Affairs strategy.
There is an opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching and clinical supervision to clinical doctoral students on a psychoanalytic training programme. You will be able to teach, mentor, provide tuition and clinical supervision and make academic and clinical assessments of student progress. You will also provide research areas related to an area of clinical interest and experience. Contribute to teaching and supervision on related postgraduate programmes in the Clinical Portfolio, in particular the DClinPrac(Res) and Clinical Training programmes. You will contribute to the development and implementation of innovative teaching practices, both in person and virtual, across the Faculty.
The job purpose is the delivery of clinical supervision / clinical skills teaching to trainees undertaking the Programme. You will work using standard approaches to supervision. Training and regular expert supervision in the approach will be provided.
