About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Global Business Development to join the Global Engagement team at Queen Mary University of London.

This is a strategic project management role requiring commercial expertise and the ability to convene and coordinate complex, multidisciplinary teams of internal and external stakeholders, whilst leading on multiple projects at different stages of maturity.

Working under the leadership of the Vice-Principal (International) and reporting to the Director of Global Engagement, the postholder will help shape Queen Mary’s global portfolio, ensuring that new developments align with academic, financial, and regulatory requirements while advancing Queen Mary’s international reputation and impact.

Core Responsibilities:

About You

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of success in delivering TNE projects within a higher education setting. You will be confident in working to tight deadlines and you'll have the ability to bring other stakeholders with you to achieve institutional objectives.  You will also have:

  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • An understanding of regulatory frameworks that underpin Transnational Education.
  • Commercial acumen, including the ability to negotiate and influence.
  • Excellent project management skills.

About the Department
