UCA is looking to appoint a Student Recruitment Officer to join our Future Students team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is proactive, confident, and passionate about creative education.
As a Student Recruitment Officer, you’ll help inspire the next generation of artists, designers, performers, and makers. You’ll deliver engaging presentations and workshops in schools and colleges, attend UCAS fairs and HE events across the UK, and support prospective students on their journey from enquiry to enrolment.
You’ll also work closely with academic staff, student ambassadors, and marketing colleagues to help deliver brilliant on-campus and online events. Your insight from working with schools will help shape how we talk to future students and promote UCA’s creative offer.
This role would suit someone with strong communication and presentation skills, a friendly and professional approach, and great organisation. You’ll need to enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, and be happy to travel for events – some evening and weekend work is required.
Full training will be provided, including opportunities to learn more about the creative industries, UCA’s course offer, and how to use CRM systems and data to inform recruitment activity.
We welcome applications from all backgrounds. If you’re excited about helping students take the next step on their creative journey and want to grow your career in higher education, we’d love to hear from you.
For an informal conversation regarding this role, please contact Imogen Morris, Student Recruitment Manager imogen.morris@uca.ac.uk
At UCA, creativity and innovation are at the heart of what we do. Our legacy of educating eager and passionate artists, makers and thinkers runs back almost 160 years, and today we’re helping shape a global future that supports and nourishes talent worldwide.
Our campuses across Surrey and Kent are vibrant communities, each specialising in different areas of the creative industries. We are also home to a thriving research hub, with academic experts and fellows leading the way in research on sustainability, design, textiles, animation, history and culture, and more.
Are you ready to share your passion for creativity with the next generation of innovators? If so, we want to hear from you.
