Working pattern: 5 days out of 7, evening and weekend working required

Reading Students’ Union is the heart of student life at the University of Reading – home to legendary club nights, buzzing bars, diverse student events, and our iconic Summer Ball.

We’re building a brand-new commercial team and looking for three hands-on Venue Managers to help lead the way.

What You’ll Do:

You'll oversee our bars, catering outlets, and event spaces—managing teams, ensuring high standards of service, and keeping operations running smoothly. From student nights to society socials, you’ll be at the centre of it all.

Experienced hospitality professionals with:

  • A strong background in high-volume operations
  • Confident leadership and team management skills
  • A sharp eye for stock, cost, and income control
  • A passion for creating inclusive, engaging experiences
